The constitutional lawyer and human rights advocate, Dr Monday Ubani, SAN has announced Saturday Dec 27, 2025 as date for the internment of his beloved mother and matriarch of the Ubani Family, Mrs. Nsomma Gladys Ubani.


Dr Ubani who described the funeral ceremony as celebration of the life and legacy of their beloved matriarch, as well as thanksgiving for a life well spent said the event will kick off on Friday Dec 26 with a service of songs at the community, Umuosoko - Awomukwu in Ikwuano LGA of Abia State.


The funeral holds the next day at Awomukwu Secondary School field, Umuosoko - Awomukwu.


According to the family, the nonagenarian matriarch passed away peacefully in February 2025  aged  90.


Dr. Ubani described his late mother as a virtuous woman, devoted Christian, and community pillar whose love, wisdom, and faith left an indelible mark on everyone who knew her.


He urged  friends, colleagues, and well-wishers to join the celebration of life for his beloved mother.
