The 4-Clan President-Generals of Ikwuano Development Union - Federated, IDU-F comprising Sir Chief Matter Ifenkwe, (Oboro); Chief Uche Usuwa, (Oloko); Chief Clement Onukwuo, (Ibere); and Prince Ukandu Eleogu, Ariam-Usaka have in exercise of their responsibilities as enshrined in section 6 (bi) of the IDU-F constitution constituted a 5-man Interim Administrative Committee to administer the affairs of IDU-F for a period not exceeding Easter festivities, 2026 and within the period conduct a General Election to usher in a new Executive Committee for the union.

The 4-clan PGs made the declaration in a communique issued after the  2025 National Conference of IDU-F held at Oloko Civic Centre, Ahiaeke - Oloko on Monday, Dec 29, 2025

According to the communique, the 5-man Interim Administrative Committee comprises Chief Uche Usuwa, President-General of Oloko Clan Development Union Federated, nominated as Chairman. Other members include Sir Prince Kingsley Uwa Nkume, (Oboro); Bishop O. U. Prince, (Ibere); Dr Johnson Mattew, (Oloko); and Prince Hon. Henry Eleogu, (Ariam-Usaka). They were appointed in compliance with section 9 of the IDU-F constitution.

The communique further stated that the immediate past President-General of IDU-F, Dr Anyadiegwu Charles Uzondu  during the conference sent his valedictory speech titled: "A New Ikwuano Is Here: End of Service Remarks By Dr Anyadiegwu Charles Uzondu", therefore closing the curtains on his long drawn tenure.

The communique also  mandated the 5-man Interim Administrative Committee to work in collaboration with the 4-Clan PGs for effective collaboration towards the conducting a  free and fair elections to elect new Executive officials.

Dailyledger.ng.com gathered that the IDU-F 2025 National Conference ended on a controversial note as Dr Uzondu attempted to stage  comeback, however members of his Executive comprising  Elder M. Mpa-Nwosu, Secretary General); Dr. Sir Friday Eluwa, Deputy President-General;Amb Emmanuel C. Ekomanna, Deputy Secretary-General I and 

Comrade Prince Abba, Vice President-General have distanced themselves from the move stating in a statement as follows: "We, the undersigned members of the dissolved IDU-F dissolved Executive Committee, categorically dissociated themselves from the statement purportedly issued by Dr Uzondu, his claims are baseless, lack merit, and are of no effect

"We reject the self-serving narrative and unilateral decisions presented", they stated
